A small batch sourdough bakery, made using 100% cultured butter from the in-house butter factory. Bread and butter is an exciting industrial warehouse conversion. A space for making and baking. A space of contrasts: Of lightness and darkness, black and blacker, gold and white, art and food, new and old, metal and timber, of concrete and brick.
A canopy of sparkling gold hovers over the bakery held up with laminations of buttery natural Tasmanian Oak. Local furniture makers, blacksmiths, designers and building materials complete the look.
