Young and Tasmanian. The Saxon's love their mates and the little things in life.
The Saxons are a four piece indie rock band from Launceston, Tas. Following the release of their debut EP 'Be Rad, Not Sad' in 2015, the band have shared the stage with some major Australian touring acts such as Kingswood, British India, and The Smith Street band, as well as dipping their feet in the musical waters of mainland Australia to launch their single 'Kicking the Habit'.
With their first full-length record released in February 2018, The Saxons are looking forward to sharing their songs with a wider audience and having a bloody good time while doing so.
'Blending elements of all your favourite indie-rock, Brit-pop and grunge bands of years gone by, the Launceston outfit are ready and raring to cross the Bass Strait, and we will surely welcome them with open arms.' - Pilerats
'Featuring growling guitars, raucous percussion, and impassioned vocals, the four-piece have a knack for creating tunes that crescendo into a fist-pumping euphoria'.
