Let’s Talk About Death is a free workshop that invites people of all ages to think and talk about what it means to die a ‘good death’.

Whether the topic of advanced care planning is personally relevant, or you would just like to have more confidence talking to family and friends about this challenging topic or you’re curious about the realities palliative care and death this workshop is for you.

Taking a practical and pragmatic approach, Let’s Talk About Death will provide everyone, no matter their age, with information about medical decision making and the skills to create an Advanced Care Directive.

Let’s Talk About Death: a workshop about end-of-life planning, is an event co-hosted by Palliative Care Tasmania and the artistic team of VILLAGE. VILLAGE is an art-project presented as part of Junction Arts Festival that explores the world of retirement villages and the lives of their residents.

The workshop will be broken up in two parts, beginning with an hour long workshop with Palliative Care Tasmania and concluding with a 30 minute panel discussion with the artistic team and older participants from VILLAGE.

People of all ages are welcome. Morning tea provided.
