Supported by Zac Slater

Hugo Race, multi-instrumentalist, founding member of Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds and hypnotic crooner, returns from an intense wave of European solo headline concerts in support of his latest Hugo Race Fatalists EP Orphans.

Driven, passionate and charismatic, Hugo Race delivers a unique take on experimental blues, folk and dark-edge, dragging inspiration from artists the likes of Neil Young, Velvet Underground and Wilco.

Hailing from Launceston, Melbourne-based Zac Slater’s voice falls between Dave Adams and Sting, whilst his guitar work is closer to Jack Johnson and Ben Harper.
