Junction Returns This September

Junction Arts Festival will be back from the 10th - 14th September 2014.

Junction Arts Festival energises Launceston, Tasmania at the start of spring with five days of playful performances, experiences and late-night happenings that unlock hidden spaces of the city and offer audiences the opportunity to come into close proximity with artists, to observe, participate and create. Junction turns Launceston into Tasmania’s best playground and extends a warm invitation to audience members of all ages to engage in interactive works that redefine the way we see a city and celebrate creativity and imagination.

Artists from London to Launceston will be throwing one-minute parties, taking you on walking tours exploring local sites under major redevelopment, allowing you to deconstruct time and shaking up local institutions. The Junc Room, Launceston’s pop-up Festival club, will also be returning with a few surprises and a host of Tasmanian and Australia’s best and most interesting live musicians.

A full program will be launched later this month. Stay tuned to our Facebook and and subscribe to our newsletter for news of this years festival…
